Pectin are vegetable substances extracted from citrus pulp and peel.

In the Food processing the pectin may be used as liquid (like jams)or dust. Pectin may also be used for pharmaceutical purposes.

peel for animal feeding

Citrus peel, other than pectin extraction, is used as animal feeding. Our Company has a special plant used for peel drying.
The peel is then shredded by hammer-mills and then sent to the rotary ovens where is dried at about 400 °C.
